Bidar institute of Medcal Sciences was established on 22 January 2005 with the motto of providing high qyality education to the medical students in the region of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by MCI (Medical Council of India). It is managed by Government of karnataka. There are many departments which are functioning in this institution like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Orthopedix, OBG etc. The college is having lecture hall with 100 seats capacity in each hall along with the aoditorium on the top of the building with the facility of lift. Approximately 400 students are studying in this college for the MBBS degree provided by this college to the medical students. The college is having para medical board and under this para medical board there are many training courses are functioning. There are 20 students on each course at present total strength is 240 students undertaking training. It has well qulaified and experienced teaching and non-teaching staff for the students. Apart from these it has well established infrastructure including all the facilities for the medical students which are necessary for them for their bright future. The college also conducts several activities for the students for their over all personality development.

Placement

The college has good placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in good or reputated organizations last year. Almost all students got placed according to their eligibility or skills. The college has it's well established placement cell which help students in all possible way by providing them various ooportunities. The placement cell conducts various interviews for the students by consulting through the major organizations for the better future of students. It conducts many workshops, and training program by the educated and experienced faculty. The faculty assigned for the placement activity, they train students for their placement and get them aware about the placement scenario or process so that they can aware and easily face the challenges for their future.
