Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi is one of the government medical colleges in Delhi which is affiliated to the Delhi University. It is one of the premier medical colleges in India and also has got its place in India’s top five medical colleges. This college was named after great Indian Freedom Fighter and the first education minister of Independent India Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad. The MAMC is aimed at building doctors with the ability to give new way of thinking and accuracy in the field of Medical Sciences. The institute look after seriously about the procurement of efficient knowledge by their students. The MAMC offer different medical courses which include MBBS, Postgraduate or residency degrees of MS, MD and super speciality/subspecialty fellowship degrees of MCh and DM. The Medical College also offers degree in Nursing and Pharmacy in their attached schools. Since, there are the different hospitals inside the campus of the college; training programs are also conducted for their students.

The complete college campus of MAMC has an extended strength of 2400 beds in their hospital serving the population from Delhi and other North-Indian States. The college campus is quite clean and supporting the students with all the day to day facilities and transportation.

Placement

Since there are many hospitals inside the campus, training for the students in the hospitals are made available by the College Management and are also placed in several medical activities during their learning.
