Description

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) The MBA three – year program is designed to develop conceptual knowledge and behavioral skills in students who continue to work in industry, government or other organizations. The modular design of the course divided into six semesters builds a strong foundation in the basic areas of management and allows the students to specialize in areas of their interest.

For the full-time programme, the eligibility criteria are the following:

  • Candidates applying for admission to the MBA full-time programme must have pursued at least a 3-year Bachelor's Degree programme after twelve years of formal schooling in any of the following disciplines. The minimum requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines is as follows:
  • Arts, Commerce or Social Sciences- 50%
  • Sciences- 55%
  • Mathematics or Statistics- 60%
  • Medicine, Engineering or Technology- 60%/ CGPA of at least 6 on a scale of 10

                                                        OR

  • Post Graduate Degree or Second Degree examination after 10+2+3scheme, securing at least 60%marks.

Relaxation in the minimum eligibility will be allowed only to candidates of the following categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW).As per the existing University Rules, the candidates belonging to PH/CW are eligible for a relaxation of 5 per cent marks in the minimum eligibility requirements. SC/ST candidates should have qualifying marks in graduation degree. The candidates belonging to OBC category are eligible for relaxation in the minimum eligibility to the extent of 10% of the minimum eligibility marks/qualifying marks prescribed for general category. For reservation of other categories, University of Delhi rules are applicable.

NOTE: The Candidates will have to provide their final result before 1st october 2013.

 

Starting this year , the FMS pattern for selection to MBA courses has changed. Selection to MBA programs will now be based on Personal Interview, group discussion and marks scored in CAT 2012. Applicants who have not taken CAT 2013will not be considered for selection in FMS 2013 program.

Note: There will NOT be any separate entrance test for selection into Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
