Description

Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical Examination (KEAM) is conducted on the behalf of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The students who want to earn a degree in engineering / agriculture / medical / architecture take this examination, in general.

There is separate Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering and Medical Courses conducted by the CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examinations) and the allotment will be based on the rank in these Entrance Examinations. The Entrance Examinations are held at all the District Centres in Kerala, New Delhi and Dubai (UAE).

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or examination recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together.
  • Those who wish to take admission to MBBS/BDS courses should acquire 50% marks in the Medical Entrance Examination (As per the guidelines issued by Medical Council of India).
  • Applicant should be an Indian citizen.
  • Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders will be treated on par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission.
  • Both Keralites and Non-Keralites are eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination.
