Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT-2014 Commissioned Officers in Flying, Technical and Ground officer in which application is only invited from the male Indian citizen is listed below
Eligibility Criteria for Flying Branch (13 SSC Course)
Age limit :- 19-23 years on 1st January 2015 but there is a relaxation of age up to 25 years for candidates holding commercial pilot licence issued by DGCA.
Educational Qualifications :- Graduation degree from a recognized university with minimum 60 % marks in aggregate, passed +2 with Maths and Physics or B.E/B. Tech degree from a recognized university with 60 % marks in aggregate.
But those candidates who have failed the PABT earlier or a suspended Flight Cadet from flying training at Air force Academy will not be eligible for the post.
Eligibility Criteria for Technical Branch
Age Limit :- 18-28 years on 1st January 2015
Educational Qualification :-
Aeronautical Engineers ( Electronics) : The candidates those who will be applying for this branch would be eligible who have a 4 year engineering degree or in pre-final year with 60 % marks in aggregate from recognized university or cleared sections A & B exams of Associate membership examination of the institute of ETC engineers by actual studies.
Aeronautical Engineers (Mechanical) : candidates those who have a 4 year degree or in pre-final year with 60 % in aggregate from recognized university is are eligible for apply or have cleared section A and B exams of Institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.
Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty Branch
Educational Qualification & Age Limit :-
Graduation degree with 20 -23 years age limit,
Post- Graduation / LLB Degree with 20-25 years age limit,
LLB (3 years after graduation ) with 20-26 yeas age limit
M.Ed/ Ph.D/ CA/ ICWA with age limit 20-27 years age limit.
