It is the first women university in North India. The first academiv session of this university was started in the year 2007 and since then the university has progressed by leaps and bounds. This university is recognized by the Section 12 (B) under the act of UGC, 1956.  It is the fastest university who get the recognition under the UGC act. It was established in the rural areas of Haryana for empowermenr of women by education them. The main motto of the university is- Empowering women with Education. It spread over an area of 185 arcs with the good infrastructure. It promises to provide wrld class infrastructure in the university. There are approximately five thousands students are already enrolled for various courses like BAMS, B.ed, D.ed, Diploma in Electronics and Engineering, Computer Engineering Pharmacy, Library and Informatoin Science, MLT, IT etc. It also provides 5 and 3 years LLB courses. It offers many under graduate and post graduate courses. The college has well established infrastructure including all the facilities which are necessary for the students for their bright future. It enhances the skills of students and provide them high quality education by the highly qualified and experienced faculty. Apart from these it also conducts many extra curricular activities for the over all development of students' personality.

Bhagat Pool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is one of the premier institute and performs very well in the placement related activitiesas it provides various opportunities to the students according to their skills and capability. It has placemnt cell which helps students in all possible way by providing them various placement opportunities. It conducts various interviews through many major companies. It conducts various pre-placement activities to get aware the students about the placement process.
