Greater kolkata college of engineering and management is located in the city of joy kolkata and is a part of JIS group of institutions. It is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to WBUT. The jis group has 28 institutions under it and has become ptners with Microsoft which is the only college in eastern india to become partners.
