GSS Institute of Technology is Managed by H.R. Charitable Trust, which was Founded in the year 2004. Sri. R. Srinvas & Smt. Girija Srinivas are the Founder Trustees. The Trust was Formed on a Profound Philosophy that Quality Education is the Mainstay of a Successful Society and this will be Implemented in a Phased Manner with the Ultimate Hope that the Students of GSSIT will Eventually become an Excellent and Responsible Citizen of the Country. The Trust also Envisages that the Youth of Our Nation should be Empowered Technically with various Skills and Leadership Qualities to Lead the Country Ahead.

Mr. R Srinivas is the Secretary of H R Charitable Trust. He is also the Founder Trustee and the Secretary of ALPHA College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has a great Ambition of Making GSSIT as a Model Engineering College in Memory of his Parents. He is a Member of Rotary Club, Bangalore.

Smt. Girija Srinivas is the Chairperson of H R Charitable Trust. She is also Trustee of Alpha College of Engineering and member of Rotary Club. She is Actively Involved in social and Charitable Activities. She is an Entrepreneur and has her own Financial Corporation Named as Girija Enterprises.

GSS Institute of Technology (GSSIT) is the Brain child of R Srinivas and Smt Girija Srinivas, Trustees of H R Charitable Trust. Founder-Chairman Shri R Srinivas is also the secretary of Alpha College of Engineering and one of its Founder Trustees. He has a Great Ambition of Making GSSIT as a Model Institution. The Placement & Guidance Cell at GSSIT has been Scaling Higher and higher Peaks Right from its First Year of Activity when Seven top Level Internationally Renowned Companies came to the Campus and Recruited from the very first Batch. The Second Year saw the Number Rising to 17, including two True MNCs with all Eligible Students being Placed - some with more than one job Offer. This Third Year Promises to be even better with all the Top Recruiters coming to Campus.

The Placement Cell at GSSIT has also been able to Extend and Offer its Services to other Engineering/MCA Colleges, and more than 50 Colleges have taken part in the Placement Process and their Students Placed in some of the best Companies.
