Sathyabama university, Chennai was established in 1988 as a sathyabama Engineering College by Jeppiaar Educational Trust. It was inaugurated by then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Janaki Ramachandran. The university is also known as Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (SIST). The university is accredited with grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and categorized under 'A' by MHRD, Govt of India. All the teacher of the college are well qualified & expert of there department and they help the student in study related problem and guide the students for their bright future.
