Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) is one of the medical colleges in Delhi which is attached to the Safdarjung Hospital which provides the clinical teaching to the College students. The college is running successfully under the guidance of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The Safdarjung Hospital was established during the period of Second World War and is also one of the largest hospitals in India. The foundation stone of the college was laid down by then Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 17 December 2001 and the first batch of the MBBS was started in February 2002. A total of more than 6 batches have been passed out from the college since the day of its establishment. The VMMC is recognised by the Medical Council of India and is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh I P University, Delhi. The college provides all the best available teaching technologies to their students to make them leaders in their field of specialisations.

Campus-

The VMMC is located inside the campus of the Safdarjung Hospital and have all sorts of facilities have been made available for the students. Starting from some of the basic facilities to the some specialised facilities, the college provide different courses as per the interest of the students. The campus is well built looking the modern day facilities made available for the students for making their learning best.
