Description

 NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2016 is a All India Medical Entrance Exam for admission to MBBS Colleges in India. NEET (undergraduate) Entrance Exams 2016, MBBS in India, All India Medical Entrance Exam,National Level All India Entrance Exam.

 After submission of online application form, candidate is required to send duly completed and attested confirmation page of online application form and proof of fee paid to the CBSE.

 Fee without late fee from 01st December, 2013 to 31st December, 2013 Rs 1000/- for General/OBC; Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PH

Last date of receipt of confirmation page of application form in CBSE is 10th January, 2014

Last date of receipt of confirmation page of application form in CBSE from Remote areas (Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Lahaul and Spiti Distt and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep) is 20th January, 2014

Last date of receipt of confirmation page of application in CBSE with late fee is 05th February, 2014

 Exam will be held on 05th MAY, 2014.

 

The schedule of hosting of admit cards is as; applications without late fee 01st April, 2014; applications with late fee 10th April, 2014.

 Age Limit: He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS course

The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India quota seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination

Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC

Candidate must born on or between 01st January, 1984 to 01st January, 1997 (SC/ST/OBC category); and 01st January, 1989 to 01st January, 1997 (other category)

Candidates shall score minimum 50% marks in NEET exam and for SC/ST/OBC candidates minimum marks are 40%.

 

Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)

 

 

PATTERN:

 The NEET UG Entrance Examination  shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only.

The duration of exam will be of 3 hours.

NEGATIVE MARKING:

 Each item carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks. For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score.
