Children of employees of the undertaking/institue of higher learning which finances the kendriya vidalaya. A child must be 5 years old on 1st of April in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission in class I. For subsequent classes, the eligible age would be reckoned again with reference to 1st of April with a proportionate increase over 5 years.
