Podar International School is located on MIDC Kupwad Road, one of the eminent locations in Sangli district of Maharashtra. The school is established with a vision of providing quality education to students. It is an English medium, co-educational school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). There is a full time trained nurse to treat the sick or the wounded students. The First Aid room is well equipped with all the necessary medicines and there is a nursing kit for immediate treatment of minor ailments and injuries.

Podar International School has a bus service to take children to and from the school. Each Podar School bus has a trained driver, conductor and a lady attendant who is equipped with a mobile phone.
