Shiv Vani Model Sr. Sec. School is run by a registered society - Shiv Vani Educational Society, its members comprising eminent educationists of Delhi. At the helm of affairs of the institution are Founder Chairman Sh. B. D. Narula and the Manager Smt. Sneh Narula. Overcoming the teething troubles of the early years, the two stalwarts have nurtured the institution with tireless efforts and dedication aided & supported by the zealous commitment of the faculty.

The building of the school is well designed and provides all the facilities to the students. The classrooms are big, spacious and airy which are also enabled with the facility of smart classes.
Library
The school library provides a conducive atmosphere for reading, it’s a well and the stock of reading material find patronage among both the students and the teaching faculty of the school. The library is regularly updated and it caters to the full extent of the requirement of the teachers and students. Besides numerous encyclopedias, and reference books, the library subscribes to several magazines and journals viz: India Today, The week, Outlook, Competition Success Review, Competition Success (G.K.), Junior Science refresher, Business Today, Education Today, Science reporter, Herald of health, Reader’s Digest, Champak, Society, Time, Front Line, Money Outlook, Children’s World, Scientific American, Geography etc.
Science Laboratories
The school boosts well maintained and fully equipped science laboratories which cater to the needs of the students. These include Biology Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and Mathematics Lab. They are places where students can carry out the experiments as per the curriculum that is followed in the school.
Computer Lab
Keeping in view the needs of the future and the evident necessity of computer knowledge, the school lays stress on computer as a compulsory part of the curriculum from class two onwards. A fully equipped computer lab with hi tech systems is maintained by the school in the interest of the students.
