yes still students are taurmatised of gettting into good colleges and profession.
its a big and little sour and little sweet truth for most of the engineers.
now i am not parents but yes ,i can say cause i see not the thinking of parents are in this limit

Indian parents prefer either medical or engineering as a carrier only at first site even in this competitive environment and tries their best to convince their children not to go for other stream other than these two.

It’s not a handsome line to boast off yet parents do put a pressure points over their wards, some due to neighbors’ opinion/advice, some due to futuristic opportunities like jobs in foreign, salary, corporate and global exposure.. many such greedy points exist.
But the reality is that only the rice grain knows and not the home-maker how much pressure’s in the cooker!
