From Anna Hazare’s Anti-Corruption movement to mass cicvil upsurge on Delhi Gang-Rape case, sitting out on “dharnas” & taking out processions has developed as a sort of trend to talk about issues. But the fact remains that daily routines of civillians do get disturbed to a great extent, so how much of it is justified? Or can we have a better way to show the mass discontentment?

Arts & Humanities Questions/Does actually raising a protest by carrying out processions, is the only way to get yourself heard or attempt to change the system? Is it justified to break the civil law & order this way or there are other easier ways out?
not always it is necessary to break the law and order ,,,,,first be an initiative for the cause …….put ur point of views to other….. let them know all the problems,,,,,wait for the response….if they are not getting then go for “Dharnas”
System is deaf, if you want to make them listen, then you have to shout loudly.
depends on the needs…..
its just an non-violent ways of behaving with the government……
system makes us to protest and raise our voices in this manner only…coz simply speaking or complaining against someone is not entertained early unless u make dem to listen what u want to say…..so raising voices and protesting outs are the only solutions to these problems to some extent den also no fast pace initiative is taken…..
Such protests are necessary because nobody pay attention if anyone is just sitting silently and waiting, you need to show your aggression and revolt against them to make them act.

First things first.. a leader can’t make a standalone attempt to agitate the system and enforce any amendments.. he needs supporters.. followers without which a leader is lame. But the agitation to which a trend is now being made to sit on hunger strikes ‘n all isn’t helping much as it should help.
The govt. has grown stubborn against these practices.
But simply no other way seems to be helpful than a “direct protest” to churn down the system to give attention.

WE can see that even after making so much hue and cry over the matter still the government seems be totally uninterested in the matter..They are busy spending vacations out of people’s money but least bothered about the suffering of the people….

No way is as per “easier” yet the direct ‘n open protest is really helpful but the govt. remains dumb to it and curbs it down.
