The Indian space odyssey crossed a historic landmark on Sunday when a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C21) put in orbit two foreign satellites.
It marked the 100th space mission of the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) first satellite, the French SPOT-6, into orbit. the second satellite, the Japenese Proiteres in orbit.
->The 100th mission of isro was “polar satellite launch vehicle (pslv-c21)which carry two Foreign satellites 1) FRENCH’S advanced remote sensing satellite and
2)JAPAN.(micro satellite)
->AND it dint sent any indian satellite
PSLV-C21 is India’s 38th satellite launch vehicle to lift off from Sriharikota. India has so far put in orbit 62 Indian satellites.Among those who watched the majestic rocket lift off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, 100km north of Chennai. The Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh was moniter the rocket launching directly. After 17 minutes and 49 seconds, it injected the first satellite, the French SPOT-6(700 kilo ), into the orbit and the second satellite the 15kg Japenese Proiteres (student satellites)was put into the orbit.
The 100th mission of ISRO is Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C21) with two foreign satellites from the spaceport of Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. And the next five years, ISRO is also scheduled to have nearly 60 more missions.
In satellite communication, signal transferring between the sender and receiver is done with the help of satellite. In this process, the signal which is basically a beam of modulated microwaves is sent towards the satellite. Then the satellite amplifies the signal and sent it back to the receiver’s antenna present on the earth’s surface. So, all the signal transferring is happening in space. Thus this type of communication is known as space communication.
Two satellites which are commonly used in satellite communication are Active and passive satellites.
ISRO’s PSLV C21 rocket successfully blasted off into space on its 100th mission on a cloudy Sunday morning.
