Wilson College was established in the year 1836 by the Rev. John Wilson D.D. Wilson College got affiliated to University of Mumbai on 14th December 1861 and was the first privately owned, non-government institution. In the year 1952, the management of the college came under an autonomous Board of Governors in India. Wilson College is a Christian Minority Institution and aims at imparting quality education to Christian community and extends its facilities and services to other communities also. In addition to this, the college provides many facilities to its students like it has three hostels(one for girls and two for boys), a well stocked library, nature club, gym, canteen and many more.
