1.       PradhanMantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY)

·       The PradahnMantri Mudra Yojna (PMMY) was launched on April 8, 2015 by the Prime Minister NarendraModi.

·       Till now there are 12 crore beneficiaries of the scheme and approx. 6 lakh crore Mudra loans are sanctioned.

·       Out of 12 crore, 74% are women and out of women 55% are from SC/ST and OBC category.

·       Under PMMY all the loans are divided into three category- Sishu (up to Rs. 50,000), Kishore (Rs. 50,000 to 5 Lakh) and Tarun (Rs. 5 Lakh to 10 Lakh).

 

2.       Netherland Starts “Clean Air India Initiative”

·       Netherland’s Prime Minister Mark Rutte launched the initiative for clean air.

·       The initiative aims to curb pollution in Indian cities by promoting partnerships between Indian start-ups and Dutch companies.

·       It is a joint initiative of Government of Netherland, Get In the ring (a platform for start-ups), Start-up India and INDUS forum.

 

 

3.       National Informatics Centre in Bhubaneswar

·       Bhubaneswar became fourth city which has a National Informatics Centre (NIC) after Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune.

·       It will be a cloud enabled National Data Centre which aims to host various e-governance applications of the Central and State governments.

·       The government websites are managed and developed by NIC in India.
