· India won Asia Cup 2018 after defeating Bangladesh by 3 wickets in the final match at Dubai. India has clinched the title 7th time.

· Conference on Academic Leadership on Education for Resurgence was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on 29th September 2018.

· Supreme has declared that government Aadhaar scheme is constitutionally valid.

· Assamese movie “Village Rockstar” has been selected as official entry to the Oscars 2019 from India.
