Kavishri Botadkar Arts & Commerce College, Bhavnagar was established in 1967 and is one of the very old well established college of Bhavnagar district. Present in charge is Dr. J.N. Kothari and the college offers courses in Arts and commerce stream. The aim of the college is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need in this era of information and teaching.

The college comes under the Bhavnagar University, established in 1978 by the state of Gujarat. The University is an institute of international recognition, has been offering educational and developmental, training, faculty enrichment, and social awareness programmes. It has been enhancing extension of the frontiers of knowledge. The University is well equipped with all modern facilities. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to the students of the University.
