Goa College of Art was founded in the year 1972 by the Kala Academy. In June 1983, the college was brought under the administration of the Department of Education, Government of Goa. Presently, it is working under Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. The college offers four years degree course in Visual Art, Bachelor of Fine Art either in Painting or Applied Art.
