ABOUT IIIT HYDERABAD:
The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) is an autonomous university founded in 1998. It was set up as a not-for-profit public private partnership (NPPP) and is the first IIIT to be set up (under this model) in India. The Government of Andhra Pradesh lent support to the institute by grant of land and buildings. A Governing Council consisting of eminent people from academia, industry and government presides over the governance of the institution.
The main goal of IIT Hyderabad is to impart a uniquely broad a uniquley broad and interdisciplinary IT education of high academic quality. This is done through a diverse curriculum of IT courses, research projects, interaction with industry , preparation in entreprenuership and personality develpoment courses.
CAMPUS:
It has a campus of 66 acre, located on the main Gachibowli road is well connected by bus. Fully equipped computer labs. Researchers have 24 hours access to the computational facilities.Library has a large collection of Refernce books, Text Books, Technical reports, standards, Literature books and CDROMS, Journals and Magazines. High-bandwith (8 mbps) internet is available round the clock. Hostel and dinning facility , sports and gymnasium forms and essential part of the Campus.
Annual tution fees is Rs- 1,40,000.
Admission is on the basis of score of JEE mains.
