Jamshedpur Workers College was founded in 1959 by Shri Madan Mohan Mishra and Late V. N. Kishore. This college is a constituent of Kolhan University. The college was established with an aim of imparting quality education among the students of Jamshedpur. This is a co-educational institution and offers graduate and post graduate courses in Arts , Science and Commerce streams. The college also provides many facilities to its students such as it has a well stocked library, common room, sports, placement cell and many more.
It has excellent placement record as most of the students of this college got placed in reputated organizations according to their skills or eligibility. This college provides theplacement cell to their students which helps them in their placement related activities. The faculty assigned for the placement activities are highly qualified and experienced. It conducts various pre-placement activities to train the students for thier better placement.
