Peoples Education Society Institute of Technology was established in the year 1988 and is affiliated to VTU., Belgaum. It was granted as an academic autonomy in year 2007. PESIT is managed by PES Society which was founded in the year 1972 with around 40 students. The society now has 45 educational programs in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh with over 15000 students.
