From its inception, the college started flourishing in all aspects. Sri Sainadha Educational Society Sponsored this college with idea of bringing Technical Education to the door steps of the people of Ongole and to promote the development of this region in the State. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. Recently the college is renamed as Rao and Naidu Engineering College. The College offers a three year full time Master of Computer Application program with an annual intake of 60 students.
