S.R Engineering college was established in 2002 with four branches of Engineering viz., Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering with an intake of 60 students in each branch. total strength comes to 240. Center for Student Services and Placements (CSSP) at SR Engineering College (SREC) plays a vital role in networking graduating students with industry. It prepares students for the process of recruitment and simultaneously creates awareness among companies about the recruitment opportunities at SREC. A separate centre with a well-equipped conference room and separate furnished rooms for interviews and counseling, have been set up for CSSP activities .The activity of CSSP are coordinated by a full-time Training and Placement Officer assisted by a team of faculty members.
