The B.P.Ed. Course in this Institution started in the year 2004-05 with an approved intake of 50 candidates. Shanti Institute of Higher Education and Technical Training was a faculty of Shanti Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahavidyalya, under which the B.P.Ed. course has initially grant permission. Since Shanti Mahila Sashaktikaran Mahavidyalya was affiliated to, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University and Shanti Institute of Higher Education and Technical Training was affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, the Chancellor has not accepted that the same premises has the affiliation of two Universities. The Chancellor has finally directed the College to get affiliation from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University. On the receipt of the Chancellor's order the Institute approached D.D.U. Gorakhpur University for grant of Affiliation. The University did not grant the affiliation. The Institute then approached the Chancellor and the state Government to direct the University to open this faculty in the University to make provision for granting affiliation to the Institution. The Chancellor and the State Government was kind enough to direct University to complete all the formalities on priority basis to grant the affiliation to the Institution for running the B.P.Ed. Course. Accordingly the University acted upon and forwarded the proposal to state Government and The Chancellor, which was accepted by the Chancellor. The chancellor was kind pleased to grant the affiliation for B.P.Ed. Course to Shanti Mahil Sashaktikaran Mahavidyalya.
