University College of Pharnaceutical Sciences was established in 1974 as department of Pharmacy,but in 1981 it was given the status of University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. This college is one of the best college of Pharmacy in India and is well recognized in the field of research. The college has been identified as the nodal point for quality improvement program by the All India Council for technical education and has organized short term courses to upgrade the expertise and capabilities of facalty members of the Pharmacy Institutions in the country.
