Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya - UBKV Cooch Behar came in to existence in 2001 recognized by UGC. It is a state agricultural institution and located at Cooch Behar, West Bengal India.The university has faculties of horticulture, agriculture and agricultural engineering. University offers a number of under graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in agriculture, veterinary science, home science and fisheries science. It also provides 4 years B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering with duly accredited by AICTE.

Placement

 The research and teaching activities at campus are remarkable. With the introduction of National Agricultural Research Project (NARP), Pundibari became the head-quarter of the Terai-agro climatic zone of West Bengal. Since then a lot of technologies have been created in agricultural field through various research programme. Presently, there are various research project running under RKVY and which generate a lot of job opportunities for project assistants, junior research fellow, senior research fellow, research assistance officer etc.
