 Bases of Admission

  • For Nursery Wing :
    On first come first serve basis.
  • For Higher wing :
    On the basis of performance in admission test
  • Entrance Test for 1st Class : 
    The test will be the oral as well as good hand test.
  • Entrance Test for 2nd to 10th Class : 
    The syllabi of the test will be the objective and short answer  types questions based on  Maths., Science  and Eng. & Hindi grammar of the immediate previous class.
  • Entrance Test for 10+1 class :
    The syllabi of the test will be the objective and short answer  types questions based on  Maths., Physics, Chem., Bio. and Eng. grammar of the 10th class.
  • Entrance Test for 10+2 class :
    The syllabi of the test will be the objective and short answer type questions based on  Maths./Bio., Physics, and Chem., of the 10+1 class.
  • Date of Entrance Test :
    • 1st Sunday of April.
      The basis of admission in any course of study will be merit in admission test except nursery wing.
  • Admission Procedure to the Nursery Wing
  • Eligibility: The candidate who is at least 3 years old for LKG and 4 years for UKG or as per the instructions of the Govt., is eligible for the admission in the respective class.
  • Registration:  The registration of the candidate can be made at the official web site of the School i.e.www.minervaeducation.org after the month of November to march. Admission will start from the month of April.
  • Documents at the time of Admission: All the selected students should produce the original Date of Birth certificate from the Panchayat/Nagar Parishad/Muncipal Corporation or Registrar otherwise their admission will be considered as provisional for six months and after that his/her admission will be treated as canceled.

Admission Procedure to the 1st class

  • Eligibility: The candidate who’s age must be 5 plus or as per the instructions of the Govt. /H.P.B.O.S.E. is eligible for the admission.
  • Registration:  The registration of the candidate can be made at the official web site of the School i.e.www.minervaeducation.org after the month of November to march. Admission will start from the month of April.
  • Documents at the time of Admission: All the selected students should produce the original Date of Birth certificate from the Panchayat/Nagar Parishad/Muncipal Corporation or Registrar or as per the instructions provided by the Govt. / H.P.B.O.S.E., otherwise their admission will be considered as provisional for six months and after that his/her admission will be treated as canceled.

Admission Procedure for Higher Wing Classes

  • Eligibility:
  • For Old Students : All the bonafide students of the school are eligible for the admission to the next class, if they successfully passed the annual examination conducted by the School/ H.P.B.O.S.E. and they have to deposite the form & fee of next class up to 8th April every year.
  • For New Students : The outside students who want to seek the admission in particular class in Minerva Public Sen. Sec. School, they will have to go through the Admission Test. On the basis of performance in admission Test his/ her admission will be decided by the admission committee, provided that he/she satisfy the eligibility  conditions of H.P.Govt./ H.P.B.O.S.E. for that particular class. In case the admission committee rejected the candidature of the candidate then no request will be considered by admission committee.
  • Documents at the time of Admission: All the selected students should produce the original School Leaving Certificate of the immediate previous school, if the candidate is migrated from a school which is affiliated to C.B.S.E. / I.C.S. E. / other State Board or any other Board recognized by the H.P. Govt. / H.P.B.O.S.E. Dharmshala then he/she have to produce the Migration Certificate from that board and/or School Leaving certificate counter signed by the Deputy Director of Education of that area / Regional Officer of that Board  or as per the instructions provided by the H.P. Govt. / H.P.B.O.S.E., otherwise their admission will be considered as provisional for six months and after that his/her admission will be treated as canceled.

10 + 1 Non-medical / Medical Group

  • Compulsory Subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology
  • Optional Subjects : Information Practices, Physical Education, Biology, Mathematics
  • Eligibility : Matriculation from H. P. Board of School Education Dharamsala / C. B. S. E. or any other board recognized in H. P. state with minimum of 50 % marks having Hindi, Mathematics, Science and English as compulsory subject at the matriculation level.

10 + 2 Non - Medical  / Medical Group

  • Compulsory Subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology
  • Optional Subjects : Information Practices, Physical Education, Biology, Mathematics
  • Eligibility :  Passed 10+1 from H. P. Board of School Education Dharamsala/ school affiliated to C. B. S. E. or any other board recognized in H. P. state with minimum of 50 % marks having English, Mathematics/Bio, Physics, Chem., I.P./ Physical Edu.  as the compulsory subjects or as may be provided by the H.P. Govt. / H.P.B.O.S.E. Dharmshala.

How to apply for admission

  • The application for admission to any standard shall be made only on prescribed Application form for Admission that can be obtained from the Principal Office of the school. The application form should comprise of the documents enlisted here under (all documents must be original and listed in following order)
    1. Admission Form
    2. Date of Birth Certificate in original / School Leaving certificate 
    3. Character Certificate from the last attended school.(except L.K.G. to 1st class)
    4. Migration Certificate (in Original)/ countered signed SLC in case of the candidate who has passed the qualifying exam from board, other than H.P. Board.

Along with above documents candidate should have to provide the following documents also :

  • Two photographs (one attested and one unattested)
  • Report card of previous class / Attested photocopy of Middle/ Matriculation/10+1 DMC

Provisional Admission

  • A student who has taken admission in the next class before the declaration of the result of previous class, then his/her admission will be considered as provisional till the declaration of final result of previous class and after that if he/she will be eligible for the current class, as per the instructions of H.P.B.O.S.E. Dharmshala, then his/her admission will be continued in the current class otherwise admission must be cancelled in the current class.
  •  A student who has not passed the qualifying examination but has been placed under compartment/RLA/RLE. etc in annual examination may be given provisional admission but the admission shall be confirmed only if he/she is successful in his/her previous annual examination.
  • Subjected to time period prescribed, the admission of a student migrating from other school/board shall be treated as provisional and shall only be confirmed when he/she will produce school leaving certificate, certificate of good conduct from the head of the school lastly attended by him/her/ migration certificate of previous board.
  • The admission of student against whom a case of unfair means is pending will also be provisional.

Refusal of Admission

  • Student who has been expelled or restricted shall not be admitted to any course of study or class with out approval of First Class Magistrate / SDM or any other competent authority or as per the instructions provided by H.P. Govt./ H.P.B.O.S.E. Dharmshala.
  • A student who has more than one year gap in his/her study will not be admitted to any course of study/class without the submission of an affidavit that must be shown in before class First magistrate.
  • The last date of admission is 30th May normally or as may be provided by the H.P. Govt. / H.P.B.O.S.E. Dharmshala and no admission will be granted thereafter.

Cancellation of Admission

  • Admission will be cancelled at any time if it is found that he / she has furnished incorrect information or has suppressed facts to secure admission.
  • Admission of student shall be cancelled if he/she misbehaves or does not observe the decorum or indulges in antisocial acts during his / her period of stay in the school.

Fee Detail

  • All the Students enrolled in Minerva public school will have to pay the Admission fee, Annual charges and Monthly fees according to the School norms. The fee detail can be confirmed for the particular class from the fee in-charge during the working hours of the School.

Mode of Payment

  • All annual fees along with tuition fee will be accepted only at the fee counter of the school.
  • The tuition fee will accepted monthly for all the classes.
  • No fee shall be accepted in the form of money order / cheques.
  • The candidates will have to deposit their fee, fine and funds up to 8th of every month. After the said date late fee fine will charged according to the school norms.

Refund of Fee

  • If an applicant is not enrolled by the prescribed date because he / she has not paid full or part of the fee, amount paid by him / her will not be refunded.
  • If an applicant is not enrolled because he /she has not submitted the required documents in support of his / her admission, by the last date fixed for the purpose or has submitted the bogus documents, his / her fee shall not be refunded.
  • If in any case the regular admission of the candidate is not confirmed because of the ineligibility, the fee paid by him/her will not be refunded.
