A.R. Engineering College is one of the institutions of Sri Venkatachalapathy Educational Trust was started on 2008 at vadakuchipalayam, Kappiyampuliyur post, Villupuram with the goal to stress the prime values namely Integrity, Transparency, Accessibility, Equity, and Quality. The college is affiliated with Anna University of Technology, Chennai. The college has grown considerably under the dynamic leadership of its Vice Chairman Sri.M.Kuberan and Principal Dr.V.Arumugham, spear heading all academic and non academic activities.
Training and placement cell plays a vital role in scouting and locating job opportunities for the young graduates by keeping cooperation with reputed firms and industrial establishments.
The college conducted many off campus job fair at the college premises .Many reputed companies like CTS,ZOHO,Ford India,HCl Info Pvt ,ITC,Lucas Tvs,Wipro etc.were invited to the job fair and more than 500 canditates were placed so far.
