A V Abdurahiman Haji Arts & Science College, Kerala was founded in the year 2002. It is a self financing college and is affiliated to University of Calicut. The college was established with an aim to impart quality education along with moral background to the aspirants belonging to rural part of Kerela. The college is run by Salafiyya Association. Initially the college was named as Meppayur Salafi Arts and Science College. Later in the year 2006, the college was renamed as A V Abdurahiman Haji Arts Science College. The college offers under graduate course in Science, Commerce and Business Administration. It also offers post graduate course in Commerce. In addition to this, the college also provides many facilities to its students like transport facility, a well stocked library, internet facility, laboratories eqquiped with modern instruments and many more.
