It was established in 1957. In 1982 this college was considered as the best science college by the Gujarat Governemnt and it was awarded by the rs. 50,000 as a cash prize due to high quality of teachers, excellent infrastructural facilities. In year 2010-11 it was rewarded as two state level award. The main aim of the establishement of this college is to provide high quality education. This college is managed by Shri Nootan Kelvani Mandal. It has well estanlished inrastructure including all the facilities according the requirement of students. It has highly qualified and experienced faculty for the students.
It has excellent record in placement related activities. It has their own placement cell which helps students in all possible way by providing them best opportunities.
