Basaveshwara Medical College and hospital was established in the year 2000 in Chitradurga and run bye the Sri Jagatguru Murugharajendra Veidyapeeth trust and it is affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore and is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). The college has well established infrastructue and buildings for teaching and hospital purpose. It offers the course in Medicine known as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The college conducts various extra curricular ectivities and provides them various facilities for their over all development. It provides the faculty which are highly qualified and experienced. It coducts training classes, workshops and many seminar for the students to enhance their individual skills.
