CMD Post Graduate College was established in 1956 with an aim of imparting higher education for the students living in the rural areas of Chattisgarh state. Pandit Dwarika Prasad Dubey founded CMD PG College. The college is affiliated to Guru Ghasidas University. The college has celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2006 and is acknowledged as a centre of Excellence. The college offers bachelors courses in the fields of Science, Commerce and Arts. Other than this, the college provides many facilities to the students like Post Office, Banking with Allahabad Bank, Hostel facility, sports, Canteen, NCC and a well stocked library.
