Central Institute of Technology(CIT) is situated in Kokrajhar District of Boodoland Territorial Council(BTC) in Assam.CIT is an autonomous Institute was established in 2006.The institute has excellence in technological education and it has good infrastructure.The insititute is approved by AICTE.

The CIT is mandated to impart Technical and quality education in several engineering streams such as Information Technology,Food Processing,Bio-Technology,Business Management,etc.The Institute offers under graduate and post graduate courses in above streams.The institute provides degree programmes and diploma programmes in several disciplines.
