The Government Girls Polytechnic institute of Ballia is located in the city approximately 3 Kilometers from Ballia railway station.
The institute is headed by Lt. Sudhakar Upadhyay as its Principal.

Government Girls polytechnic Ballia was established in year 2004. It is a leading government technical Institute in eastern U.P. approved by AICTE and BTE Lucknow. The institute imparts education in 3 disciplines (IT, Electronics and PGDCA-2 yr.) and our faculty members are highly experienced and dedicated to their duty.

Our attempt is to provide 100% employment to all passing out students and help them get jobs in both India and abroad. Infosys, HCL, Satyam, Wipro etc are some of the major names where we are trying to get our students placed.

The institute has a girls hostel (130 seats) for the students.
