Government Arts degree College, Srikakulam is the first and foremost College in the district was established in 1951 vide G.O.M.S. No 1887 of the Madras Government. It was granted affiliation by the Madras University as Arts College, Grade A with the introduction of the Intermediate courses in 1951 and later upgraded to Govt. Degree College in 1954, with the introduction of under Graduate Courses. The College is Accredited by NAAC with B++. It is affiliated to Andhra University. Due to galloping rise in population and increase in society’s complexities, the country needs more experts in professional field for research and development. And this is main reason for opening Sree Nagarjuna College of Pharmacy.
The Main motto is to serve the needy students and also giving importance not only to permit but also to downtrodden communities to face a regular challange in the present scenario.
