The foundation stone of Government Degree College Bemina was laid in 1970 by K.H.G.M. Sadiq(then CM of J&K state). The college actually started functioning in the year 1972. The college is affiliated to University of Kashmir. The college is spread over 300+ kanals of land area. The college offers bachelors courses in Arts, Science and Commerce streams and masters degree in commerce stream. The college provides many facilities to its students like canteen, hostel facility, a well stocked library, sports, internet facility, seminar hall, health care centre, sports and many more.
