Hansraj College is one of the premier and constituent college of University of Delhi runs under the DAV management Committee which is the largest non-government educational organization of the country. The college was established on 26th July 1948 in the memory of Mahatma Hansraj. Initially there were 313 students in the roll. It offered preparatory courses in Arts and Science. Later it start offering manu honours courses. They also conducted post graduate courses. The college offers well qualified and experienced faculty for the best teching of students. Apart from this it also has the well established infrastructure including various modern facilities for the students. The college alos conducts many events or extra activities for the over all development of students.
The college has good record of placement as many students of this college got placed at good profile. The Oberoi Group has commenced its selection process for graduate management programme.The placement cell of this college has the aim to place right student for the right job. The training and placement department of this college plays a vital role in placement activities by offering various opportunities such as training and workshops along with their academics for the students. They provide various programmes in parallel to extra lectures to face and interviews confidently. They conducts various pre-placement activities to train the students or to get aware them about the placement process so that they could face their future challenges easily.
