The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is located in the Shivalik Range of Himalayas. The campus will be like a heaven away from the rush of metropolitans, in a wonderful environment that will give your learning a refreshing and great motivation. The campus of the IIT Mandi is located at forested hills of kamand on the banks of Uhl which is a tributary of river Beas. IIT Mandi is also theone of the eight new IITs that has been established by the MHRD of Indian Government in India. IIT Mandi has found IIT Roorkee their mentor and currently running from a temporary campus until the construction of the permanent campus is completed. Opened with the motive to make India as the best country in the technical education, IIT Mandi is a new landmark for the fleet of India’s one of the top education providing institutions. Enhancing the abilities of their students in the field of technology, IITs pays equal attention to the social well-being and study of the humanity.
Campus-
The permanent campus of IIT Mandi will be in a total area of 565 acres of land in the forested hills of Kamand, Himachal Pradesh which is around 12 Kms away from the Mandi Town. Presently, the IIT Mandi’s campus is running from a temporary campus which is located in the Mandi Town. The institution is providing all the facilities to their students and taking education of their students more seriously. Thus, enhancing the knowledge with the support of the libraries, hostel facilities, Labs and many others that every IIT of India gives to their students.
Like the others IITs whichare known for the highest placements and salary offered to their students, IIT Mandi which is the youngest IIT of all, also scored well in the past placements.
