It was established as a non-profit educational half a decade ago and the deed of the trust was executed at Chennai on the 13th day of March 2002. It has been serving the country in the field of technical education ever since. The founder of the trust is Mr.V.G. Rajendran, a Philanthropist and Social Activist has been in the field of promoting real-estate projects in the city of Chennai. Realizing the need for immediate action, he decided to establish a world class educational conglomerate at Thiruvallur district.
