Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Nutrition,hajipur has come into existence in the year 1997 after upgradation of earlier Food Craft Institute, Patna. The institute is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology and was financed by Govt. of India, Ministry of Tourism.

The Institute manages all the activities from its own resources as far as financial matters are concerned.The present intake of the students from the year 2003 has baaen increased to almost 250 %. Awards have been initiated and sponsored by reowned hotels and other hospitality companies in the form of scholarships and momento to all the meritorious students.
