About the Institution
To usher-in an era of Engineering and Technology, the Khalsa College Society decided to establish an institution of Engineering and Technology realizing the educational requirements of the society/area and also to provide quality education.
The hallmark of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology would be a progressive system of technical education providing opportunities to students to make their own niche in the society.
Location of the College
The College Campus is spread over an area of 15.7 acres having pollution free atmosphere with ideal environment and surroundings in one of the poshest areas of city of Amritsar. Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology is located in Ranjit Avenue, very near to the Amritsar District Courts. It is 10 kms from Amritsar International Airport, 5 kms from Bus Terminus and about 4 kms from the Railway Station.
Existence of strong industry and academic partnership and liaison plays a very important and vital role in exchange of ideas and resources which is very essential for any center of learning. The Training & Placement Department, KCET is committed to bridge this academia and industry gap and seek the corporate sector’s cooperation in producing better engineers to meet today and tomorrow's needs It is in this direction that the Institute has set up a comprehensive Training & Placement department to cater to the professional needs and aspirations of the students. Organized industry interface is being established with a view to bridge the gap between individual qualifications / ambitions and corporate job expectations / career profiles.
