Maharani Laxmi Bai PG Girls College was established in the year 1963. Initially, the college used to run in a school. Later in 1965, it was shifted to the Fort. The college comprises of an area of 13 acres with a built up area of more than 50,000 sq. feet. The college offers graduate and post graduate courses in the fields of Science, Arts and Commerce. In addition to this, the college provides many facilities to its students like a well stocked library, sports, NSS/NCC, hostel facility, career guidance cell, grievances redressed cell, poor student fund, personality improvement program and many more.
The college has a career guidance cell which is involved in guiding and training students for their career prospectives and help them in their personality development.
