was established in 1983, the college is managed and run by Pravara Rural Education Society. The college is affiliated to University of Pune. Pravara Rural Engineering College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, New Delhi. The college admits students to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering, as per the rules and regulations of AICTE. Spread over 68.5 acres of land, Pravara Rural Engineering College provides a number of modern facilities for the smooth conduct of its courses.

Placement Cell :-

A Separate cell has been established with a full time Training & Placement Officer, assisted by faculty members , to help there students to get  good jobs & thus get a desired head start in their career. Already twenty two companies have conducted campus interviews and 41 % of the final year students have been successfully placed.

The institute enjoys sound interaction with the industry by being located near Ahmednagar MIDC, Sinnar , Ambad , Satpur Industrial estates.
