Radharaman Group of Institutes (RGI) awarded as “The Best Emerging Institutes of the
Year 07” by hon’ble Chief Minister of the State Govt. of M.P, is the self-financed education
organization set up in 2003 by “Tapasya Education Society”, a committed group of Ex-
Professors & Alumni of MACT (Now an NIT, named Maulana Azad National Institute of
Technology) to provide quality education in the field of Engineering & Technology.

Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science (RITS), Bhopal is the pioneer institute of
Radharaman Group of Institutions, (RGI) which is situated in hustle-bustle tree picturesque
environment of Ratibad, in the out skirts of Bhopal.
Since its inception it has maintained the fast growing track record by adapting latest technology
& techniques supported by ultra-modern laboratories in the field of teaching. Now it is believed
to be one of the best institutions of Engineering & Technology in Central India. Apart from
achieving excellence in academics it has also become a favorite spot for top-notch companies for
hiring skilled & talented manpower.
Mission: The Institute is committed to groom the students to attain the best of their
capabilities by providing every opportunity and to inculcate in them the desire to
excel. To impart the world class quality technical education to produce dedicated
and competent technocrats
who can face the global challenges of the present industrial scenario with innovative
and technically informed solutions.
The focus is onto make RITS a preferred destination and center of excellence
for development and dissemination of technical knowledge. To imbibe the social
values and ethos in the minds of students. To inculcate and nurture a belief in life-
long learning and the ability to apply what is learnt for the benefit of mankind.
Emphasis is to develop all the required teaching learning facilities even beyond the
syllabus covering development of communication skills, teamwork and presentation
of academic potential and acumen through seminars and workshops to assist in the
development of a student’s overall personality and to ensure placement.
Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science (RITS), Bhopal is approved by AICTE
(All India Council of Technical Education), New Delhi & affiliated to RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi
Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya), Bhopal which is the State University of Technology of
Madhya Parades (MP). The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has certified RITS as an “A”
Grade institution as per the recommendations of fee fixation committee.
Admission in the various courses available is provided purely on merit basis in PET (Pre- Engg.
Test) & AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination) through online counseling at
different centers in the presence of govt. officials of RGPV (State University of MP) Bhopal.
We believe in banking on the experiences of learned technocrats of academics & industries. In
this respect we have Dr. J.L. Rana (The very first person in M.P. to complete Ph.D. in the
field of Computer Science) as the Director of RGI (Radharaman Group of Institution) who
has served MANIT (Formerly MACT) as professor & head for more than 32 years.
Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering is Directed by Dr. D.K. Trivedi
(Ex-professor & Head, EC MANIT) who has worked as research associate in Tata Institute of
Fundamental Research. Dr. R.L. Gupta (Gold medallist, M-Tech thermal Engineering, Ex-
Principal, MANIT) is the Director of T & P Cell at RITS. Col. P.M. Das (Advisor ISRO
project & consultant MAP-IT project) is with us as advisor. Col. R.S. Singh serves the
institution as Dean, Admin. & Academics.
1) The exquisite infrastructure spread over in 100 acres of land houses spacious classrooms,
laboratories, and workshop with ultra-modern teaching aids.
2) The air-cooled IT center has 750 computers with Internet facility of 512 KBPS with R.F.
connectivity, which enables us for online/ server based tests.
3) The centralized digital library serves as an information center with more than 18,000
textbooks, national & international journals, magazines, periodicals etc.
4) A centralized air-cooled auditorium of seating capacity of 500 equipped with modern facilities.

5) An air-conditioned conference hall with all modern equipments (i.e. LCD, OHP) is built with
vision to provide a platform for professional exchanges & corporate presentation.
6) A huge open-air theatre with seating capacity of 1500.
7) Basket ball court, cricket ground with turf wicket & swimming pool.
8) Separate girls & boy’s hostels, staff quarters, and bank are under construction.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering: -
The department of computer science is attaining greater heights under the valuable guidance
of Dr. J.L. Rana, Assisted by Dr. Anurag Jain. The main aim of the department is to impart the
basic & in-depth knowledge of the curriculum through live projects & works. The department is
strengthen by the faculties of competence & commitment and advanced labs such as:

The department has 150 computers connected through LAN network & 100 Computers
(SVGXA) monitor provided with wireless facility with IBM- AIX based P5 series server. The
whole campus is provided with wi-fi facility.
The students of this department has completed their projects on
Education Management
Information System, Interactive voice response Software, Proxy Server with HTML filter,
Firewall in Linux, Java Based Chat Applet etc.
Department of Information Technology: -
The department of information Technology is enriched with air-cooled
IT center with 1500 computers of latest configuration & technology. The
goal of the department is to produce world class IT professionals. Teaching
of curriculum is assisted by live projects. It has following labs of modern
technology:

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering: -
The department provides innovative training and strives to impart related skill sets to the student
of India & abroad of Elect. & Elex. Engineering. Department has the labs with the equipment of
latest specification. Department enriched with following laboratories: -

Projects completed by the students of this department include Frequency & Phase monitoring via
computer, Design & fabrication of three phase linear induction motor, PC controlled drilling M/c

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
The department is continuously working on the dual principal of quality education & research
under the valuable guidance of Dr. D.K. Trivedi a prominent scientist of his time. He has carried
out R&D projects of national importance for ISRO & DRDO. The department also boasts of the
world-class laboratories with hi-tech equipments. Which includes

industries also. Some of them are Power Line Data Communication, VOIP Application Over
Embedded System, Voice recognition System, Voice Analysis & Speaker Verification, Wireless
security Using Camera, Remote Access Terminal etc.
Department of Mechanical Engineering: -
Headed by Prof. V.N. Barthariya (10 years of Industrial & 5 years of academic experience) the
department of Mechanical Engineering is pioneer in producing Mechanical engineers to suit
the needs of industries & multi dimensional research. This department has been supporting
various firms engaged in designing & manufacturing field. The department has well equipped
laboratories to support the research & development work in the field of Mechanical Engineering
& allied areas such as:

Placement
The department of T & P is adding laurels to the college under the valuable guidance
of Dr. R.L. Gupta (Gold medallist eminent academician & Ex- Principal MANIT,
formerly MACT) & has set bench mark in the direction of campus placement. Our
training cell takes the help of BHEL, C & G, RRL, Indian Railways, CPRI, MPEB,
HEG, Tractor Training & Testing Center Budhani, Doordarshan, Akashwani,
BSNL and other corporate trainers to train our students and to develop the skill sets
required by the corporate sector.
We have been offering centralized campus placement services to the corporate sector
in which we receive active participation from the students of all forty-five Engineering
colleges of the state affiliated to RGPV, including MANIT & Bhopal. We can provide
you the students from every corner of India as Bhopal is situated in the center of India
hence Bhopal based Colleges has students all across the India. We share good reputation
& professional relationship with Govt. & private Engineering colleges including
MANIT (earlier MACT) & Govt. Polytechnic College, Bhopal and have the data
