RVS College of Engineering and Technology has been established in 2007 by the RVS Educational Trust under the Chairmanship of Dr. K V Kupusamy. The College is located within the Coimbatore city in an extensive 200 acres campus on the Coimbatore, Trichy National Highway.

Affiliated to the AICTE New Delhi this college comes under the wing of Anna University - Coimbatore. It contains,well equipped laboratories,supported by more than 900 PCs, spacious and separate hostels for both boys an girls,a huge playground supporting various outdoor games,a separate area for indoor games,a fully automated Central Library and a Cooperative Storethat enables students and staff meet their needs effortlessly.

 

Placement

Placement is the lifeline of any institution. The College has a Placement Cell, which helps the students secure placement. The Placement Officer has been for the specific purpose of taking care of placement and training.
In addition, there are Student Representatives from the final year PG and UG classes, who actively involve in planning the placement activities and making the necessary arrangements for Campus Placement drives.

Regular classes for  Career Skill Enhancement is held to build their skills in Aptitude, Communication Skills, General knowledge, Group Discussion etc. to help the students succeed in the Campus Interviews.

Resource Persons are called regularly to conduct Seminars and Symposiums on Career Guidance Programme to train the students in interview skills.
