Shree Mahila Arts and Commerce College, Joshipura, JUNAGARH -362002, Gujarat, was established on September 14, 1986 by Shri Sardar Patel Educational Trust. Joshipura was a rural area; and has recently been included in Junagadh Municipal Corporation giving the College urban status. The College was founded with an aim to educate the girls in rural areas who found it difficult to commute to towns for education. The goal was also to make them empowered and aware of women's rights.
